Entering
How much does it cost?
The 10K is £30 early bird until 31 December 2026, £40 from January, and £50 in the final fortnight. The Children's 1K is £8. Prices TBC
Is there an age limit?
You must be 15 or over on race day to run the 10K. This is an England Athletics rule for road races of this distance, not our choice. The Children's 1K is for ages 5 to 14 and runs entirely on the track.
Is there a qualifying standard?
No. All standards are welcome. The course cut-off is 1 hour 45 minutes, which is about 10:30 per kilometre or 17 minutes per mile — a brisk walk finishes inside it.Cut-off TBC
Can I get a refund or transfer my place?
Transfers to another runner are free until 31 March 2027, through your Event Master account. Deferrals to 2028 cost £10 and are available until 31 March. We cannot refund entries after that date, which is when we commit to the medals, T-shirts and closure costs. Policy TBC

What time should I arrive?
The stadium opens at 07:30. For a 09:00 start, arrive by 08:15 to allow time for baggage and toilets. Your exact assembly time is printed on your race number and sent in your confirmation email.
Where do I collect my number?
on 17th April you can collect it from the stadium between 09:00 and 17:00. TBC
Is there baggage storage?
Yes, staffed and inside the stadium, from 07:30 until 12:30. One bag per runner, labelled with the tear-off tag on your race number. Please don't leave valuables.
What facilities are there?
Toilets, changing rooms, a covered stand, a warm-up area on the infield, water and coffee, and the results screen — all inside the stadium. Water on course at 3 km and 6 km, and at the finish.
Can my family & friends come and watch?
Yes, and they don't need a ticket. The best spots are the stadium for the start and finish, Shepherd's Bush Green at around 5 km, and South Africa Road at 8 km. Live runner tracking means they will know when you are coming.
What if it's cancelled?
If we have to cancel for reasons outside our control — severe weather, a security incident, an order from the police — we will move the race to a new date where we can, and tell you within 48 hours. The event carries cancellation insurance.

Accessibility and inclusion
Can I run with a guide runner?
Yes. Guide runners enter free. Email us with both names and we will pair the entries and give you a start position at the front of your wave.
Are wheelchair and frame-runner entries accepted?
Yes. Wheelchair and frame-runner athletes start two minutes ahead of the first wave. The course is flat with no steps and no cobbles. Tell us when you enter so we can plan the start.
Can I run with a buggy or a dog?
Not on the 10K, for the safety of the field. Buggies are welcome inside the stadium for the Children's 1K, and assistance dogs are welcome everywhere. TBC
Can I wear headphones?
Bone-conduction headphones that leave your ears open are fine. In-ear and over-ear headphones are not permitted on a closed-road course — marshals need to be able to warn you.

When are results published?
TBC. Provisional results go live as you finish, and final results within an hour of the last finisher. They stay on this site permanently.
Are photos free?

Where does the money go?
Your entry pays for the race first — closures, medical cover, timing, marshals and equipment. The surplus goes to the refurbishment of Linford Christie Stadium and to Thames Valley Harriers. We publish the figures after the race.
