The race needs 80 volunteers. It will not happen without them.
The White City 10K is calling for volunteers to make this event possible. Volunteers are required for a range of roles across all areas of the event day, from marshalling on the course to manning water stations and handing out medals, there is a role for everyone; no prior experience is required!

Five jobs, and what each one involves
Course marshal
Stand on a junction, keep the course clear, point runners the right way and cheer. The busiest and the best job on the day.
~50 needed · 07:00–12:00
Water station
Fill, hand out, clear up. Two stations on the course plus the finish. Fast-moving for twenty minutes, then quiet.
~15 needed · 07:30–11:30
Race assembly and finish
Help line up the waves in the race assembly area, hand out medals and keep the finish funnel moving around race HQ and the stadium area.
~10 needed · 07:30–12:30
Bag drop
Take bags in, give them back to the right people. Methodical, warm, and you see everyone twice.
~8 needed · 07:15–12:30
Build and crew
Saturday afternoon and early Sunday: barriers, signage, arch, tents. The job for anyone who would rather lift than stand still.

How it works
Tell us roughly when you are free and whether you are coming alone or as a group. We will match you to a job, confirm by email in March, and send the briefing and your jacket before race day.
Minimum age is 16 to marshal alone, or 12 with a responsible adult on the same junction. All volunteers are insured under the event's public liability cover.
